Information
This functionality is at the moment, only available on Guestonline Web (computer). It will be available on the mobile and Faro iPad app soon.
It allows you to collect your customers firstname/name/phone number, in order to fill your COVID book : the customer informs his/her coordonates, or you do it for him/she.
Activation
From Guestonline computer, go to the "Settings" Menu > Restaurant Setting : and check that box :
For a phone booking :
- Click at the top right "Make a reservation"
- Fill the mandatory forms :
Tick "email" or "sms" in the notification part if you want to send the covid form to your customer :
The "email" or "sms" boxes can only be checked if the information is filled on the customer's sheet :
SMS are activable from "restaurant settings" menu.
Your customer having a phone or online booking will receive an email or a sms, with the usual confirmation and a new button : "covid book reminder" :
- If they click on the "Covid book reminder" button, your customers are redirected to a new page allowing them to add their coordinates.
If the booking is for several people, your customers will have to press the "add" button to inform other
people's coordinates.
Once all information are filled (as much coordinates as you have people), the "add" button disappears :

How are the information available in your account ?
- Customer's coordinates are available on the "Booking list" menu
, you can recognize them with this icon :
- The "green tick" means that all coordinates for a same booking are filled. The "red cross" means that coordinates are missing :
- When your guest is arriving at the restaurant, and you want to add coordinates, you have two options :
1) Add coordinates by clicking on the covid icon : a window is opening, fill the form and click on "add" to go to the next. (the first line is prefilled with the reservit's information)
2) other option : send again the confirmation email to your guest and ask him to complete the information : (only available if you have an email address or a mobile phone recorded on the booking)
