[BOOKINGS] What Are My online booking customers Receiving ?

When your customers book online on your Guestonline's module, they necessarily have to indicate an email address and a mobile phone number, to be reachable and especially receive their confirmation of reservation. The formats of the telephone numbers are verified, to assure you the valid address and phone number: for instance a French mobile phone number cannot contain 9 or 11 figures.

You will find below all the information your customers can automatically receive :

E-MAILS

  • If the service is in "automatic" confirmation or " mixed" (more information to be found this tutorial)

As long as the service is available and as long as the customer "respects" the parametrized constraints of reservation you have registered, the reservation is confirmed at once and the customer receives this e-mail :

  • If the service is in confirmation " manual" (more information to be found on this tutorial)

- The customer receives a first e-mail for her/his reservation in expectation :

- Then, when you confirm the reservation (from the mobile application, the e-mail, the iPad or Guestonline Web), the customer receives her/his confirmation :

  • On the day of the meal

The customer receives a reminder of reservation between 9:15 am and 9:30 am :

You can parametrize the number of days before the meal and the hour of sending for the reminder in "Settings" > " Restaurant setting".

  • In the event of cancelllation :

If the customer cancels her/himself her/his reservation (via the button in the e-mail of confirmation or reminder) or if the restaurant owner refuses her/his reservation :

If your customer paid a deposit or passed on her/his bank card on your module within the framework of a bank guarantee, the received e-mails mention this information :

SMS

No matter the offer you have chosen, as long as you informed your banking information ("Settings" > " Bank account details "), you can activate the following options. SMS are charged depending on the destination country (rates available here).

  • For the confirmation of reservation :

- You may have activated the option " Enable SMS (confirmation and cancellation) for module's reservations " in "Settings" > " Restaurant setting" :

- When your customer reserves online, as soon as her/his reservation confirmed (at once or later, when you validate it), she/he will receive this SMS :

  • On the day of the meal

- You may have activated the option " Enable SMS (confirmation and cancellation) for the module's reservations " in "Settings" > " Restaurant setting" :

- The customer receives a reminder of reservation between 9:15 am and 9:30 am :

                              If your customer clicks the link after " manage ", she/he will obtain this screen,                                              on the Internet browser of her/his telephone :

  • In the event of cancellation :
